At The Rehab Centre , we provide comprehensive, high-quality physiotherapy services tailored to individuals seeking improved movement, independence, and overall quality of life.Move more comfortably, build physical capacity and take part in the activities that matter to you. TRC provides personalised, evidence-informed physiotherapy for people with disability, persistent pain, injuries and mobility challenges. Our physiotherapists take time to understand your goals, abilities and everyday environment. Together, we develop a practical plan that supports meaningful progress and long-term self-management. Our clinic specialises in NDIS physiotherapy and musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, using a personalised and evidence-based approach to care.
We understand that no two individuals are the same, which is why every treatment plan is carefully designed around each client’s specific needs, goals, and lifestyle.
Our approach
Our team of experienced physiotherapists bring extensive clinical expertise in NDIS, chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and complex disability care. We are committed to delivering effective, evidence-based treatment that focuses on meaningful, long-term outcomes. Our clinicians continually engage in professional development to ensure we provide the highest standard of care using current best practices.
We also take a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach, working closely with Occupational Therapists, support coordinators, carers, and other allied health professionals. This collaborative model ensures all aspects of care are aligned—from physical rehabilitation and mobility to daily living skills and independence—resulting in more consistent and effective outcomes for our clients.
Our philosophy centres on achieving meaningful functional outcomes—helping clients not just feel better but move better and live more independently. We combine hands-on therapy, targeted exercise programs, and education to empower individuals to take control of their physical health. Whether someone is recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or living with a disability, our goal is to support long-term progress and improve participation in everyday life.
NDIS physiotherapy
Our NDIS physiotherapy services are designed to help participants build or maintain physical skills, independence and participation. Therapy is linked to the participant’s disability-related needs, goals and everyday activities.
Following an initial assessment, your physiotherapist may recommend:
- Individualised strength, balance, mobility and conditioning programs
- Gait, transfer and functional movement training
- Strategies to improve safety and confidence at home and in the community
- Support-worker or carer education to help carry strategies into daily routines
- Home programs and practical self-management resources
- Progress measurement and reports that explain outcomes, ongoing needs and recommendations
- Collaboration with occupational therapists, support coordinators and other members of the care team
Recommendations are based on clinical assessment and current evidence. NDIS funding decisions are made by the NDIA and depend on the participant’s individual circumstances and plan.
Complex disability and neurological rehabilitation
People living with complex disability or neurological conditions may experience changes in movement, strength, balance, coordination, fatigue and mobility. We provide structured, individualised rehabilitation that focuses on safe movement and practical function.
Therapy may support transfers, walking, posture, physical conditioning, movement efficiency and participation in daily activities. We work collaboratively with the participant, family, support team and other health professionals to promote consistency across settings.
Persistent pain and physical conditioning
Persistent pain can affect movement, sleep, confidence, work and everyday participation. Our approach is active, paced and person-centred. We help you understand contributing factors, gradually build activity tolerance and develop strategies that support safe, sustainable movement.
Your program may include graded activity, strengthening, mobility work, pacing, goal setting and education. Treatment is adjusted to your response and focuses on function and self-management rather than quick fixes.
Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
We assess and treat conditions affecting muscles, joints and soft tissues, including back or neck pain, arthritis, postural concerns and work- or sport-related injuries. Treatment is tailored to the findings of your assessment and may include exercise rehabilitation, movement retraining, education and clinically appropriate hands-on techniques.
Our aim is to help you return to meaningful activities, improve physical capacity and reduce the likelihood of recurring problems.
Balance, falls prevention and mobility
A fall or fear of falling can reduce confidence and independence. We assess balance, strength, walking, transfers and relevant environmental factors, then develop a program suited to your needs and level of ability.
Support may include balance retraining, lower-limb strengthening, gait practice, transfer training, advice about mobility aids and education for safer everyday movement. Where appropriate, we collaborate with occupational therapy and other health professionals.
