Professional Background

Professional background

Prior to graduating high school, I developed a strong interest in healthcare. When I was introduced to occupational therapy, its core principles closely aligned with my professional goals, particularly the focus on supporting individuals to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.

I have gained experience and specialise in working with people with both static and progressive neurological conditions, and a particular interest in assistive technology prescription, home modifications, and cognitive therapy. My background includes working across aged care and community-based private practice, supporting clients in real-world environments to improve their quality of life.

Approach to Care

How I work with clients

My approach to therapy is client-centred, with a strong focus on each individual's goals and engagement in meaningful occupations. My practice is guided by the understanding that neurological conditions present uniquely for each person. I believe that rapport and communication is key to engagement and outcomes, and my approach is adapted to the individual needs of my clients. I am passionate about enabling individuals to maintain independence, safety, and dignity across all areas of life.

Clients can expect collaborative, goal-directed sessions that are tailored to real-life contexts, with a focus on functional outcomes, problem-solving, and supporting independence, confidence and safety in activities of daily living.

Personal Touch

Outside of work

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like staying active at the gym, as well as getting outdoors — whether that's heading to the beach, exploring local creeks, or going fishing. I also enjoy unwinding with a good movie, great coffee, and good food.
