Professional Background

Professional background

The opportunity to support individuals across a variety of settings — each with their own unique goals — is something I find incredibly meaningful. What I love about being an OT is the client-centred approach, as well as the creativity and flexibility it requires. I am inspired by the ability to empower individuals to overcome challenge and excel in areas of life that are important to them.

Areas I have experience in are across the lifespan — paediatric, adolescent/teens, adults and geriatric — as I work within a mixed caseload in community NDIS.

I have completed university placements in hospital settings (physical rehab and acute mental health). Since beginning my OTA role in 2021, I have worked within the community NDIS setting, providing services in homes, schools and community areas.

Approach to Care

How I work with clients

I would describe my treatment style as approachable, empathetic and client-centred. I prioritise building rapport and creating a space where individuals feel comfortable and supported, as I believe strong relationships are key to achieving meaningful outcomes.

I consider myself open-minded and flexible in my approach, understanding that each person's journey is different. Clients working with me can expect this combined with a commitment to evidence-based practice, ensuring that the strategies I use are both effective and tailored to the individual. I am genuine, motivated and always willing to learn.

Outside of work

In my own time I enjoy being outside at the beach, going for walks, bingeing TV shows and going out to eat. I love trying new activities, meeting new people and spending time with my two ginger cats, family and friends.
