Professional Background

Professional background

I have always had a strong passion for working in healthcare, inspired by my grandmother's career as a nurse. She would often tell me how rewarding working in healthcare is. Occupational therapy appealed to me due to its holistic and flexible approach, which allows us to support clients across a wide range of skills and life areas. The opportunity to make a positive difference in so many ways is what led me to pursue occupational therapy.

As a student, I had the opportunity to gain placement experience working with paediatric clients, within the public mental health sector, and across rural and remote community settings.

I have gained experience working with NDIS clients in a private practice setting.
